  • JESSE M. COX, PRINCIPAL

  • Jesse brings nearly fifteen years of expertise to his clients relating to the accounting, administration, compliance, funding and plan design of their retirement programs. He excels in assisting his clients improve both the administration and cost effectiveness of these programs.

    Jesse has served as a benefits consultant for Exxon Corporation, Gerdau Ameristeel, Overhead Door Corporation, TXU Industries and the United Food Workers Pension Plan over his career.

    Jesse earned a B.S.B.A. in both Accounting and Actuarial Science from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and is currently pursuing his designation as an Enrolled Actuary.
  • M. SHANE GARONZIK, PRINCIPAL

  • Shane brings nearly ten years of actuarial consulting to his clients, including significant first-hand experience relating to administrative and operational defects and challenges faced by defined benefit plans.

    Shane has served as a benefits consultant for numerous clients throughout his career including CPS Energy, Dana Corporation, PepsiCo, the Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) and Quaker Oats.

    Shane has his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing his designation as a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
  • JILL M. URDAHL, FSA, EA, MAAA

  • Jill has worked with all size employers, both public and private, for over eighteen years as a retirement actuary and consultant. She has significant experience related to GASB 45 and excels at assisting her clients to develop their retirement and OPEB strategies.

    Jill spent over fourteen years at two international consulting firms where she gained expertise in administration services, plan design, funding and financing and present value services for QDROs. Jill regularly attends annual national meetings to keep current on the latest design and technical issues related to defined benefit plans of all sizes.

    Jill is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
  • JOSEPH E. CASEY, JR., EA, MAAA

  • Joe is an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He brings over thirty years of experience working with tax qualified and non-qualified pension plans for small, medium and large employers.

    Joe has spent his entire career in the Boston area – including valuable time as a senior level actuary and consultant with other major actuarial consulting firms. He has considerable experience related to annual valuations, benefit calculations, government filings, financial disclosures and plan design – including DB, DC and retirement income replacement analysis.

    Joe earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
  • ANTHONY L. URDAHL, FSA, EA, MAAA

  • Tony brings nearly twenty years of experience to clients working with all aspects of defined benefit pension plans. Tony has previously worked with international consulting firms on cash balance and traditional pension plans of all sizes, where he last served as the Senior Resource Actuary of a large actuarial consulting firm and was responsible for technical issues related to defined benefit plans. Tony has extensive actuarial expertise in administration, design, funding, accounting and discrimination testing of cash balance and other defined benefit plans. Tony regularly attends annual national meetings to keep current on the latest design and technical issues related to defined benefit plans of all sizes.

    Tony is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
